So you’ve booked your next headshot session @ Alimond Photography Studio in Leesburg VA. What next? What can you expect on the day of your session? 

When you walk into Alimond Studio, the first area you will encounter is the main lobby. The main lobby is where you will get greeted by the Alimond staff. After you fill out your intake form, we will take that information to craft your perfect headshot and help us guarantee you look amazing.  While some people want to look friendly and approachable in their headshots, others might want to look creative and avant garde.  It all depends on the purpose of your headshot, which we will find out and capture your session accordingly.

We always  encourage you to bring in different clothing options such as  dress jackets, blazers, tops, and accessories to give yourself options during your session.  The dressing room is equipped with a large mirror, several clothing hooks, and a lounging chairfor your comfort. Once you’re ready, it’s time to get you HD camera ready in the makeup room.

In the makeup room, you will be paired with one of our award winning makeup artists that will get you HD camera ready. Your everyday makeup will be enhanced with professional makeup and techniques that will  accentuate your best features and guarantee that you will love your headshot and portraits. Once your makeup is done, it’s time to move on to the studio for your pictures.

Once in the studio, you will link back up with Aliyah to get started with your session. The session is structured to be conversational, fun, and elegant. Making sure you feel comfortable, confident, and excited is what is important for us to capture some of the best headshots you have ever had. This is where the magic happens!
