About Me Video Prep
Congrats on signing up for your very own About Me Video! I can't wait to hear about all the doors this one video will unlock for you!
However, before we get all excited about your video, let's go over how to prepare for a successful video session.
Your About Me Video Preparation Checklist contains a few things for you to remember before you come in for your appointment.
Be sure to bring in something that is something you would wear meeting your client for the second time. Doesn't matter if that's casual or professional wear. It's important that you are authentic and look like yourself. You want people to look at you and get a sense of who you are. Most of the video will be head and shoulders, but there might be some shots that show more than just head and shoulders.
Bring in two props. The first prop is something that represents you professionally. Feel free to be as creative as you would like!
The second prop is something that represents something personal to you or something that you are passionate about. Once again, extra points for creativity!
Please be sure that you are ready for the camera when you arrive. If you need to book our professional makeup artist to help you get ready for the camera, please let us know and you may contract her services for before your session start time.
If you are doing this on your own, please be sure your makeup is video ready versus everyday wear. (Unlike photography, there is little retouching that will be done on video).
